New Camera
I’ve wanted to get a digital SLR for a while, but never more so than when I was in Chicago last month. I got it into my head that I really wanted one, and then I spent the next few weeks obsessing over them… which to get, whether I really wanted it, would it be a frivolous purchase? Well, an outrageous deal on the Canon EOS Rebel XT from dell.com pushed me over the edge. I ordered one Monday morning, and I was pleasantly surprised to have it in my hands by Wednesday!
Well, I’ve just been futzing with it, trying to learn the menus and controls a bit. I put some of the pics I took up at photos.chazin.net. They’re mostly of Sneakers and the hamsters, and not all that interesting. But they’re there for your amusement.
