I thought Garden State was beautifully shot
Two not so important bits:
1) I finally read Still Life with Woodpecker, which I believe wmur recommended to me almost 5 years ago. I finally bought it to make an Amazon order qualify for free shipping. It was pretty good. Maybe I will try reading some other Tom Robbins books.
2) We saw Garden State last night. I liked this movie quite a bit but there is one thing which I have to mention. Ian Holm played the main character’s father, and I kept thinking “wow, his father is Bilbo!” This is mostly because Ian Holm is pretty short anyway. Anyway, 12 out of 14 rabbit turds for this movie. Not great, but very good.
