ARCHAEOPTERYX
(ahr-kee-OP-ter-ix)
A crow size, feathered dinosaur. Its name means “Ancient Wing,” because until recently it was the oldest bird known. Each wing had an extension of three clawed fingers. They had long and bony tails. Of the late Jurassic Era.
