PTEROSAUR
(tayr-o-SAWR)
Known as winged lizards. Most of these large brained, flying reptiles were fish eaters, but some may have eaten insects. The largest Pterosaurs known had wingspreads of 40′. Of the late Triassic Era through the late Cretaceous Era.
